Cannot seem to find AnimDessin2 plug-in for photoshop

Hi! I read about a great extension for animating in Photoshop called AnimDessin2, but when I look for it in the extension library, I cannot seem to find it. When I clicked on a link I found for the download somewhere on this forum, it only said 'this extension is retrackted by the partner.'

Does anyone know if it is still available somewhere or otherwise if there is some good alternative for it?

Thanks you!

If you are serious about animation I suspect Photoshop may not be a good choice in the long run and, if you have a Cloud License, you might be better off checking out other Adobe applications line After Effects, Animate, Character Animator, …

Thank you! I do use animate and after affects, but i like cleaning my animation up in photoshop sometimes, because of the texture options. That's why I was wondering about AnimDessin2!

If you do a search for it, you can find the GitHub repository for it and instructions on downloading.

I haven't used it, but it looks like you could alternatively use built-in Photoshop features to create your frame-by-frame animation by doing the following:

  1. Make a layer for each cel
  2. Open the Timeline panel (Window > Timeline)
  3. Click Create Frame Animation
  4. In the Timeline panel menu, select Make Frames From Layers
  5. Shift + select all of the frames
  6. Use the dropdown menu below one of the frames to set the duration for all the selected frames
