Cannot use my old Wacom Bamboo CTH-470 with Photoshop on Windows 10

Greetings,

I have an old Wacom Bamboo CTH-470 that belonged to my brother, and I'm trying to configure it for use with Photoshop on Windows 10. However, nothing seems to be working.

I already followed several tutorials but nothing seems to solve my issues. The only things that work are the zooming and scrolling with two fingers. Everything else is non responsive, I can't even use it as a mouse or click anything. I already tried several combinations of settings in the Wacom Preferences but still no results.

How can I solve these issues?

Rafael

Hi there,

We're sorry about the trouble with Photoshop while trying to use the Wacom Bamboo tablet. Which version of Photoshop are you using? Does the tablet work with other applications?

You can check: https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/kb/tablet-support-faq-photoshop.html

Please let us know if it helps!

Regards,

Nikunj

Hello,

I'm using Photoshop 21.2.0. I hadn't tried other applications before, but now I realise that the tablet is not working anywhere. It seems that the pen is unresponsive.

Thanks for the info! If the tablet is very old, its possible that the drivers for the tablet are not compatible with Windows 10 or there may be some other compatibility issues.
