When trying to view masked area on an adjustment layer (with short key \) it shows as inverted (red area is unmasked, and plain area is the mask.) I tried to to use quick mask setting to show masked areas but it doesnt change it back. I never had this issue until this verision. Is it a bug or is now the masked areas clear?

Hi @L3XIS

Could you try double-clicking the Mask icon in the toolbar to open the Quick Mask options? This should allow you to modify what gets colored with an overlay.

Hope this helps!

I wonder if your workflow is a little bit out.

Try and make things as simple as possible to test it.

Open a new document.

Make a selection with the Marquee tool.

Hit the Q key to start Quick Mask.

You should see either as my example below, or the red around the outside and the center white.

I have Quick Mask set to Selected Areas

If you double click the Quick Mask icon and open this panel, is the color set to Red, and opacity 50%.

If opacity had somehow been set to 0% then you'd see nothing.

If you made the selection withg the Selection brush and its opacity was set to 0% then you would also see nothing.
