Cant use type tool because of a program error ( windows 2019 photoshop CC)

I recently installed new fonts and they seemed to work fine until this message pops up: " Could not complete your request because of a program error"

The other tools work fine this only happens when i try to use the type tool.

What i tried to do so far: 

Reinstall my new fonts

Clean the cache

Reset all the warning dialogs

Diable the use graphis processor.

My OS is windows 10 and i use Photoshop 2019 CC

Hi @oktagram298871528fah, a few questions for you: is the error message only appearing when you attempt to use the new fonts? Or does it appear even when you select any other system or Adobe font with the type tool? When you installed these new fonts, did you select “Install for all users” on your system? Along with the other fixes you tried, did you try resetting your Preferences? What about resetting the Type Tool? Are you simultaneously running the Creative Cloud Desktop app? Is there a reason you can't update to the latest version of Photoshop CC 2023 (currently, 24.4.1 release)?

No the problem would occur with all the fonts, even the "lorem ipsum" wouldn't show up.

Thank you for suggesting to "reset the type tool" that worked just fine! 

The reason that i didnt wanted to update to latest version is that my laptop is quite old and even with 2019 version sometimes Photoshop starts to freeze and slows down pretty badly :))
