Canvas & PS Windows Hidden Until Photoshop Application Window Resized (CC 2020 | Catalina)

Experiencing an extremely annoying glitch in CC 2020 (latest version, OSX catalina) where the project canvas won't appear and smaller PS windows (Character, Properties, etc) won't appear until the entire Photoshop application window is resized. This happens constantly throughout working, not just on PS loading. 

This is happening on both my iMac and Macbook (both same OSX and PS versions). 

I had this issue quite a few versions back, but it was patched out and can't believe it's back again. Really disappointed overall with CC 2020, so many frustrations and glitches - but this is the biggest so far.

Have you tried clicking on the Green Maximize button to fit photoshop to your screen?

Yes that seems to help, but I either work full screen or windowed not
expanded like that so it's not a great workaround.
