cc library brushes don't load in photoshop

Hello everyone! I can't get any of my brushes to work from my CC Library. I've tried from inside the libraries panel in photoshop, and I've tried from my library on the website -- I click, I double-click, right-click, all the clicks I can think of -- nothing happens.  Images and textures load beautifully from the library, but brushes do nothing. What am I doing wrong? Thank you so much!

Manually put the brushes here:

On a Mac, brushes in Photoshop are typically installed in the Users/[Your User Name]/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Adobe Photoshop [Version]/Presets/Brushes folder.

Restart the program once you do manually put the abr files where they belong.

I've moved this from the Using the Community forum (which is the forum for issues using the forums) to the Photoshop forum so that proper help can be offered.

Check first you have loaded the brushes: Brushes files end in “.abr”. To load these, go to your Brushes palette in Photoshop and in the dropdown menu (found in the top right of the palette, under the gear wheel) go down to “Import Brushes” and then browse to the brush file. Once loaded, the brushes will appear at the bottom of your Brushes palette and are ready to use.

Thanks, Derek, I do load my brushes from a file on my hard drive. It doesn't let me load them from the library though. I load them when I open Photoshop, because if I leave them loaded it takes FOREVER to open the app. I was hoping to fix this isssue by being able to browse the brushes visually in the library and choosing the one I want to use from there. So far I can see them, but that's as far as I get!
