CC2019 Images opening up behind PS Adjustment Panels

When I opened PS yesterday my horizontal images opened partially behind my adjustment panels. I have my tool bar on the left and adjustment panels on the right.  Prior to this morning the image would just fill the empty space between the tool bar and the panels.

FWIW, I've deleted and re entered preferences. Under workspace prefs I've only checked Auto show hidden panels, Open documents as tabs, and Enable narrow options bar.  Until yesterday these choices were not a problem. But I've tried unchecking them and adding and subtracting other options.  I've tried reducing the width of the panels, but that doesn't work either.  Moving the panels to the left side creates the same problem: a portion of the image is behind the panels.

I now have to move and resize each image manually to correct this before I work on it.

Hope someone can help.

Are the panels docked to the edge of the screen? Drag until the cursor hits the edge, drop when you see a "glowing" blue line.

How simple.  Thank you so much!  I guess I had to make a try myself but man I hated that I wasted a day trying to fix it myself.  Wish I knew how this got "derailed" in the first place, but if it happens again, I'll know what to do.

    Again, Thanks!
