CF Express with Photo Downloader

I've always used Photo Downloader to transfer photos from my cards to Bridge on my Mac. Downloader doesn't seem to recognize my new CF Express cards. Can you help?

Having the same issue AND Downloader in Bridge 11.1.1.185 is NOT STICKY and doesn't retain any information from last download - always worked until last year. Driving me crazy to the point I have begun to search for an ALTERNATIVE to the Adobe universe - their lack of attention to this critical piece of WORKFLOW is unacceptable to a working Pro.

I believe the problem is that MacOS sees CFExpress cards as removable disks rather than memory cards.
