Change Logo Outline Colour [was: Please help!] (2017)

Please help! I have a business logo that was sent to me. It was created in photoshop. I purchased Photoshop to fix the logo and begin creating images. The logo has an existing outline and I need to change the color but I cannot get it to work. Any suggestions?

In which image mode are your log? RGB.. or other.? Try to change image mode

What file format?

What does the logo look like?

Does it have layers?

Does it have work paths and vector content, or is just a raster file (JPG)?

You need to give way more information before anyone can help you.

I assume your image is locked but your best best is to open it in your photoshop then take a screenshot of what error it gives and post it so people can try to help
