Change text from "Right to Left " To " Left to right"

New Here ,

Hi, how do I PERMENANTLY change the text to "Left to right" instead of " Right to left"?

I read Adobe's Guide instructions for "Arabic and Hebrew type" and their instructions are wrong, and must be outdated. The issue is that the guide informs me to go to Edit- Preferences-Type and In "type" there should be "Text Engine Options" where I should be able to change the text, well the thing is... "Text engine options" doesn't exist.

This is not a big issue, but I am getting frustrated with manually changing my type direction every single time I open a new text box.

Thanks,

I'll tag our Arabic Expert @Zaid Al Hilali  for this one, Elizabeth.

The only thing I can suggest which you need to test if it is alright with you is to change the Langauge settings to "Default Features" as shown below. Once you select this setting, close Photoshop, then relaunch it.

By changing the settings as instructed above, you will lose RTL options, however, you can get them back if you go to the same menu to choose "Middle Eastern Features" at any time.
