Change video speed on Timeline - Photoshop 2019

Hello.  I am new to photoshop and its timeline.  I am trying to change the speeds of both video and audio.  Everywhere I have found using google it says to right click on the layer and I will get the speed/duration option but that is not happening for me.  When I right click on the layer, both video and audio, I get a fade in, fade out, volume window.  I am using photoshop 2019.  Thanks for your time.  Gary

For a video track right click on the clip then ensure you press the left button for the video clip options

Hi Gary,

That shouldn't be happening, let us help make this right.

Do you have a smart object layer on the timeline or a video?
Could you share a screenshot of the timeline?

Please check the correct answer here and see if it helps: Can't change video clip speed or duration

Regards,
Sahil

Sorry I am quite a newb.  It is not a video it is a smart object. So perhaps that is the issue. What about the sound layer?  Can I slow that down?  Thanks for your patience with me!!!

You are right clicking on the triangle button, not the clip. Get off the triangle and right click on the clip itself.
