Changes not previewing in real-time

I just updated Photoshop to the most recent version (Windows) and noticed an annoying new thing; none of my adjustments show in real-time. This includes resizing images (I hold-click to resize, but it won't show me what I'm doing as I increase or decrease size until I unclick) and all sliders (same; doesn't show real-time changes, only shows the result when I unclick).

Any idea why this would be happening? Do I need to make some kind of adjustment to the processor in Preferences? Thanks!

Adobe is so utterly frustrating. I have been having the same problem - and of course, after intensive research, find out its an issue well-known to Adobe who continues to ignore customer complaints on the topic.

I downloaded photopea (an incredible near clone of PS) and can now get my work done fast, on time and accurately again.....i had recently uninstalled Corel as I rarely used it, but i am re-installing it, as well....and cancelling my Adobe subscription this afternoon.

Sorry, @saram29035364  too many threads to monitor... I see that you have many features disabled in your application, and also that the display drivers are three years old. The Intel 460 is not exactly a powerhouse, I wonder if disabling GPU acceleration would not have been a good choice in your case, or installing a previous version, as stated.

Hello, there's been some changes about cursors interactions, but not everything should be affected, can you be very specific about what is not real time, and exactly how, in which panel or shortcuts is used?

When I select "Free Transform" on an object and grab the handles to begin resizing, it does not show the image resizing in real-time. It only shows the image when I unclick my mouse from holding the handles.

When I use the sliders in the layers palette to adjust transparency, I do not see the transparency of the object changing in real-time until I unclick-hold the slider. So when I'm click-holding and moving the slider up and down, nothing on the object changes until I let go of the mouse button.

When I use ANY adjustment sliders (Hue/Saturation, Levels, etc) it does not show changes in real-time. Same thing as before; it won't reflect the change until I release the mouse button.

There are a good few bugs on version 21.1 that's why I went back to version 21.0.3

Unfortunately I work in an office and have very limited access to installing/uninstalling programs. It's set up to update automatically, but I'm trying to avoid the hullabaloo of having to contact an IT administrator to switch to the older version. That's my last resort though!

Hello, Saram.

Are you using Ps 21.1?

Are you using a Huion tablet?

Can you post the contents of help>system info... so that we have more data to help you.

Yes, I am using version 21.1. I am noticing this issue while using the mouse, not my tablet. I use a Wacom tablet, but it's when I'm just resizing images or adjusting sliders using my mouse only. Using my Wacom tablet to draw works just fine.
