Is there a way to change ctrl + tab for something else? Thank you!

As mentioned before, the "Move focus to next window"shortcut doesn't work on my machine with Photoshop (it just goes to Photoshop's Application frame).

I want the same shortcut for all my applications because it helps my workflow.

Therefore, I need to change the ctrl + tab shortcut in Photoshop for the same one I use with "Move focus to next window", but I can't find where to change the ctrl + tab shortcut in Photoshop (Edit > Keyboard Shortcuts).

Thank you!

Not possible. (edit: at current at least)

Also I expect the OS shortcut would take precedence anyway.

I recommend you abandon using the Application Frame altogether.

Does the »Move focus …«-shortcut work as expected when you work with proper floating windows in Photoshop?

I guess I don’t understand your problem.

If the shortcut works in Photoshop – fine.

If you prefer using the OS’ »Move focus to next window« instead – what is the problem exactly?

Just curious!  [Ctrl+Tab] does nothing in my Ps in Windows. [Ctrl+Tab], also cannot use it as a KB shortcut in the Keyboard Editor [ALT+SHIFT+CTRL+K].

Regards. My System: Windows-11, Lightroom-Classic 15.1.1, Photoshop 27.3.1, ACR 18.1.1, Lightroom 9.0, Lr-iOS 10.4.0, Bridge 16.0.2 .

From Adobe Help:

https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/using/default-keyboard-shortcuts.html

Result

Windows

macOS

Cycle through open documents

Control + Tab

Control + Tab

Switch to previous document

Shift + Control + Tab

Shift + Command + `(grave accent)

I'm asking because I've always used the "Move focus to next window" shortcut on macOS system preferences, but on my new computer running on Ventura, this shortcut doesn't work anymore in Photoshop.

And this happens when I try to add a specific Photoshop shortcut via the system preferences:

I like having the same shortcut for the same function accross all applications on my computer.

Thank you!

I've branched your post from a thread from 2014.
