Changing an IMG to a Panorama - Maintaining Aspect Ratio

New Here ,
Jun 27, 2019 Jun 27, 2019

Seeking advice with converting an image DIMENSIONS 2000 px X 1333 px to a panorama for AEM upload.

Colleague shared that I should resize to 1600X500 - but when I do so the image gets crunched and aspect ratio is off.

Seeking advice!

Also IMG size needs to be under 150 kb

That will distort the panorama even if you use content aware scale.  You are not maintaining the aspect ratio. You can add a boarder to maintain aspect ratio or crop to the 16:5 aspect ratio. To add boarders use fit image to 1600x500 than  use  canvas size 1600 by 500 to add the missing canvas.

You'll need to crop it.

A square peg won't fit a rectangular hole.  You need to re-think this.  Perhaps a better approach would be to  crop and stitch multiple images together to from one suitably sized panorama.
