Hey everyone,
Trying to figure out the best way to change colors on hats with logos on them. Im trying to change the color of the hat only and keep the logos the original color. If there anyone that has advice on the best way to do this? Thanks so much!!!
With the bright red, trim, it would be very easy to create a mask.
You can still use the Hue/Saturation adjustment layer with your hat image. As Chuck mentioned, you would need to make a mask for the patches so that the color you set in the adjustment layer doesn't apply to those areas.
When you apply the Hue/Saturation adjustment layer, select Colorize at the bottom and set the Hue slider to the color you want:

Thanks so much for the reply. Im trying it but its not changing the color of the hat only it does the logos too. Is there a way around it that you know of? The only way that im able to do it is using object selector tool and pulling each logo and save as layer copies. Then I have to change color on hat then add back the logos after. Does that seem like the only way to be able to do it in your opinion? Thanks!

Would you be able to post the picture of the hat where you want to change the color?

Some examples would help. If the hat is a different color than the logo, there are a variety of ways to create a mask, fairly easily using things like channels or blend if. If the logo has the same colors, that will require more manual work.
