Character Panel "set leading" glitch

Originally after the update I was having issues with "set leading", had a lot of glitches and random malfunction. After the update, the tools for Character/ paragraph panel were somewhat fixed and stabilized.

I now have run into an issue that is really hindering my efficiency in a major way, its impacting my work flow significantly and I have not heard back or have any response from the adobe or the community forum, nor has my issues been even given any notice, which to be honest is quite surprising as I usually I get some sort of response or action even if its "we aren't sure". I know adobe is very busy and so is the forum community but like I said, i"m surprised I have heard back from either.

Before the major update, I could quickly highlight my text / paragraph, then click into the set leading box and hit the down or up arrow keys and it would adjust in real time. Set leading no longer does this, as you have to press enter key in order for the leading change to take effect.

I would also point out that this has effected all other real time adjustment for character tools such as font size, kerning, tracking and baseline shift. (could be more but these are the major ones that effected me).

I'm sure many, just hover over the leading icon and adjust with their mouse but even then, the change doesn't effect until you release the left button of mouse and I also find its not as accurate this way.

For myself as this is one of the tools I use daily and frequently, I'm very grateful for the adobe teams hard work at resolving glitches but this is real headache in my workflow. I hate to take a step backward, especially because I am one to cheer for innovation and change but I can not let these types of bugs or glitches slow down my efficiency. These types of issues ( I understand they seem trivial or small to some) effect my workflow and can have an impact economically. What I do daily, allows my the privilege to afford adobe's subscription based platform so its a real heartbreak and genuine stressful situation that something that was not broken, is now something that effects me hourly. Im afraid and hate to say this but for the first time, I may have to revert to an older version of Photoshop as I cannot afford these types of workflow problems in my daily process.

Sincerely thankful. Please help.

This is definitely a bug in the most recent update to Photoshop CC 2018, Photoshop CC 19.0.1. Prior to that, it worked correctly as you described.
