Cintiq 13hd not displaying dialog boxes

Just set up my cintiq on a new computer, when I try to open a new file or pick a color the dialog box doesn't appear.

It must be off screen somewhere photoshop cs6 doesn't crash or anything, just gets grayed out as if a dialog box is open. Pressing enter restores functionality, but of course does nothing for me if I need to utilize any functions in an option box.

specs:

Windows 10

Cintiq 13hd with freshly installed most recent drivers

Windows ink disabled

Photoshop CS6

Nvidia GTX 1060

I've tried messing around with the resolution to no avail, although occasionally a box will pop up on the main display (not the cintiq) that appears to have the wrong resolution when rapidly changing screen resolutions.

Any ideas? I've already seen this solution: Problems with cintiq on photoshop CS6

Alright so deleting your preferences returns the origin point of dialog boxes to the center of your screen.

If anyone has any trouble with this in the future:

1. Close photoshop.

2. For Photoshop CS6 on Windows 10 navigate to C:\Users\YourUserName\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CS6\Adobe Photoshop CS6 Settings

3. Locate the file named Adobe Photoshop X64 CS6 Prefs.psp

4. Delete the file.

5. Reopen photoshop.

6. Attempt to open a new file/select a color/open any dialog box that was causing issue

Hi Snickerwicket,

Could you please let us know if you're using more than 1 screen? The dialog might be opened on the other screen.

Regards,
Sahil

I had a problem with blank dialog boxes a long time ago, when I had my Cintiq.  It was shortly after Mavericks came out.  I had to update my driver at the time and do something with Coverflow text (I forgot what, it was years ago)  But, as Sahil mentioned,  if you're doing multiple screens it could be on the other screen somewhere

The dialog box isn't blank it's just off screen somewhere. Minimized everything, tried multiple resolutions, the box is not anywhere on the main screen.

Did you recently change the screen orientation, like from 2 screens to 1 or vice versa, or anything like that? I know when I've done that, it screws with the dialog boxes sometimes

I'm just setting up my tablet on a new pc, so there wasn't anything to change from. The dialogue boxes work fine on the main screen with or without the tablet, but as of today, on first attempt, dialog boxes are not appearing on the cintiq 13hd when used as a second screen.

3. Locate the file named Adobe Photoshop X64 CS6 Prefs.psp

4. Delete the file.

5. Reopen photoshop.

6. Attempt to open a new file/select a color/open any dialog box that was causing issues before

7. If this didn't work for you, I'd follow the steps Tanuj Sandal listed here:

1.         Open  notepad file and type in:

   # Use WinTab

   UseSystemStylus 0

save it as a plain text file named PSUserConfig.txt

2.       Open run command and type appdata and hit enter key

3.       Go to location Roaming - Adobe - Adobe Photoshop CS6- Adobe Photoshop CS6Settings

4.       Move  the PSUserConfig.txt file to Adobe Photoshop CS6 Settings folder

Good luck guys.
