Clipped/Hidden Adjustment Layers Appear on Export

Hello!

Today I was working in a single file on a few photos, each which have a levels adjustment layer clipped on them. When I went to export the bottom one, those clipped adjustment layers were applying, even though they were hidden.

The workaround is to turn off the adjustment layers themselves first, but this should not be necessary. See the following screenshots, the first with the adjustment layers on, but hidden due to the layers they're clipped to being off. The second, with the adjustment layers turned off manually.

I see a similar issue was posted elsewhere a while back: Photoshop: When exporting, hidden Clipping Mask Adjustment is exported too | Photoshop Family Customer Community

It was said to be fixed, but I'm now experiencing it in the latest version of CC (20.0.1 20181029.r.41).

I've already tried resetting preferences and the like, but the issue persists.

Thanks!

Just tried it with Legacy Composing, and that doesn't help. Will post a bug on this.

If you're using PS 2019, try making sure "Legacy Compositing" is checked in the preferences under performance.
