I have been using photoshop for years and now I updated to 2020 and I am having problems with my Clone Tool. I alt-click and then it doesn't copy on the image I want to put it on.  I reset the tool I can't get it to work. This is a big problem. If I get it to work I only get half of the image. I need help ASAP.

Hi

Not having any issue with the Clone tool on Windows 10 with Photoshop 2020, have you tried resetting PS preferences

You may want to backup your settings beforehand

Migrate presets, actions, and settings

Hi there,

We are sorry about the experience with Photoshop.

Apart from what Ged suggested, you can check the settings of the Clone stamp tool. After selecting the tool, check if the mode is set to Normal and the Sample settings selected in the drop down.

If you have a multi layered document, please ensure that you have the correct layer selected in the layers panel.

Regards,

Nikunj
