Cloud Library Smart Object breaks on Edit

New Here ,

I've been using Smart Objects stored in a cloud library for quite a while. It's been working great, I can edit the smart object in my library and it will then update over various different PSDs I use regulary.

That was until this week, nothing has changed, I go into the PSD and double click the smart object in the library, it loads up as normal to allow me to edit it, I save it and all appears to go ok. But it doesnt update in the PSD and then appears broken in my library.

When I try to go back in i Get the following error "could not edit original smart object because the file was not found cloud library"

I've tried unlinking and relinking my library, installing and uninstalling photoshop and  various library fixes found online but nothing seems to work.

Anyone got any ideas?

This has been happening to me, too! Literally overnight because I was giving a demo to students about the benefits of using smart objects in libraries, and then the next day it stopped working. I have a suspicion it's due to a change in how libraries work, because the error didn't happen after an update in photoshop or illustrator. I hope they fix this...it's really messing up my workflow.
