Collection for Slices?

I've done some searching but haven't seen an answer on the topic & I'm still wrapping my head around scripting in Photoshop. With the idea of containment hierarchies in Photoshop, documents have a container, layer have theirs, etc. But how about slices? Does Photoshop manage those in a collection as well? If not, does Photoshop return any information that could be captured & collected during the creation of a slice?

Any help on the topic would be appreciated!
