Color Overlay not working

Hello everybody, my color overlay in color mode is not working properly and I cannot figure out why, here is a screenshot of the obtained effect, the red square is there and I cannot remove it, it also moves when I try to erase it and spread to all the picture when I save it as png or jpg.
