Color picker not working 2025.

Photoshop 26.10 

Windows 10 pro  version 22H2

I have tried closing out of session and reentering, resetting the preferences,

installing an older version of Photoshop, reading all the helpful suggestions 

from previous posters. 

I'm not sure how to reproduce this problem, I'm trying to resolve it. 

The trouble is, on the color picker hex ff0000 looks like ff7800.

If I fill a shape on screen it looks right.

But what is the potential problem?

I tested the PSD file you shared on my end, but I wasn’t able to reproduce the issue. Does this happen only with that specific file? Also, could you check if the same error appears after updating to the latest Photoshop version (27.0)?
