Color Picker - pick color from different sample

I wondering if there is option or extension thats give me possibility to use color picker like in old corel photopaint? There works it like:  -i take picker tool, and click it from one corner to another of box (same as marquee tool in photoshop) and its give me information of average color from this rectengular big sample. 

 

anyone knows anything?

The sampling of the eyedropper (and other tools) can average depending on what's set. 1x1 is one pixel, but  5x5 averages 25 pixels and so on. You can set this to as high as 101x101 pixel averages.

    You can get the average color value by going to Filter > Blur > Average. You'll probably want to make the layer a Smart Object first or duplicate the layer before using that filter, though.
