Color Picker (Text Color) making me crazy?

Hello,

After a recent update I am getting this interface when choosing a text color. It is a frustrating interface that does not seem to reflect what I click on and I just want whatever I was using before. The color even seems to change after I hit "OK", or maybe I am going crazy. I tried changing the changer in "general settings" but that did not change it. What am I missing here?
Thanks.

@Yamo74 has already pointed you in the right direction I believe.

When you have a file that is in either 8 or 16 bit you will get the traditional color picker. When you have a 32 bit file you will see this different color picker. You can easily check what type of image you have by looking for the number within the tab heading.

If you wish to change the mode you are in you can do so from the menu…
Image > Mode

Generally you will want to be working in 8 or 16 bit. 32 bit is generally reserved for higher end photography related work. You generally do not want to be switching between these modes unless you have to. The best thing to do is set this value when you create the file and you shouldn't need to worry about it again.

新規書類を作る際に32bitモードを選んでいる可能性があります。

イメージメニュー>モード>32bitがオンになっていませんか。
