Hi both my printers are refusing to print darker colours from swatches and the colour wheel. Just wondering if anyone has had this issue and how I can solve it? The first picture is showing it will print red but not dark green and the second picture they are all supposed to be different shades of dark blue.

I haven't done that but I've never had an issue before, I've tried converting the colours to CMYK and then exporting to print but the colour still came out grey. I thought it was my printer playing up so I tried my parents one but it was the same so I think it's to do with photoshop but I'm not sure what as I haven't changed anything since I last printed and I had no issues then!

Forget CMYK. That is not for inkjet printers which expect RGB data.

When printing, in the Photoshop print dialogue select your printer and choose Photoshop manages colours. Then choose the printer profile that matches your printer and paper combination. Then choose print settings and make sure in those printer settings, the media selection is correct (i.e. the correct paper type is selected) and color management is turned off (you do not want Photoshop and the printer both trying to manage the colour).

Let us know how you get on.
