Colour space shift on PNG export from iOS Photoshop

I'm getting colour space shifting when I export a PNG with or without transparency from Photo iOS. Attached are a couple of photos...one exported as a jpeg - it has normal/expected colours. The other was exported as a PNG...massive colour shift. Any ideas what is causing this?

That should read 'Photoshop iOS'.

This looks like an image in the ProPhoto color space that has been exported without checking Convert to sRGB and Embed profile, and then opened in a web browser.

Web browsers will assign the sRGB profile to untagged images (that don't have an embedded profile), and since the image was created in ProPhoto, sRGB is the wrong profile, and the colors wiil be muted.

When I open the image in Photoshop and assign the ProPhoto profile, it displays correctly.

Always check Convert to sRGB and Embed profile when exporting.

Thanks. I was looking for input from iOS Photoshop users on this one. I posted jpegs to illustrate the problem. I am about 30 years in on desktop Photoshop, but today I wanted to see how workflow would be strictly using the iPad. I appreciate your input.

@jeffb56004601 I don't use an iPad either, but I searched and -

AI on the Brave browser told me this

"Photoshop on iPad does not support ICC profiles directly. To manage color profiles with Photoshop on iPad, you would typically need to ensure that your ICC profiles are installed on your computer and then sync your work between the desktop and iPad versions of Photoshop. This allows for consistent color management across devices. For detailed instructions on installing ICC profiles on your computer, you can refer to guides available online or Adobe’s official documentation."

IF that's right, it looks like what you want may not be possible.

Where did those 'prophoto' colourspace images originate? That’s the place to fix the issue I guess
