COMMAND-CONTROL-F with ver. 24.7.1 (MAC)

Since updating to ver.24.7.1 Photoshop the application of a just used filter to a new image, using the COMMAND/CONTROL/F key combination no longer works.

anyone else having this issue?

Is there a workaround, besides applying the filter without the key stroke shortcut?????

Very frustrating, and affecting my workflow.  Big time.
