Command/Ctrl + Backspace and Alt/Option + Backspace fill does not work correctly

New Here ,
Dec 26, 2022 Dec 26, 2022

Command/Ctrl + Backspace fill does not work correctly - main color. Alt/Option + Backspace - background color.

When you use these hotkeys, the fill is colored white, but in the font properties panel it shows black. With any further action, such as cropping, the font goes from white to black, although the fill was originally white. What can be the problem? File without all unnecessary and video of the process is attached.

Tested on Mac version 23.2.2 and Win version 24.1.0 20221206.r.166 be4691b x64

Hi @Vladimir21773928dxc7 sorry you are seeing this issue.

Let's make sure we're in a default state and there are no stale settings somewhere:

Restore your preferences using this manual method:

https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/using/preferences.html#Manually

Does it work correctly?

If that doesn't solve it, you can quit Photoshop and put the Settings folder back.

It may help if we could see your Photoshop System Info. Launch Photoshop, and select Help >System Info...and copy/paste the text in a reply.

Thank you,

Cory
