Since PS 2018 I have run into "Generator" problems. Nothing I have tried works. I have now installed on my laptop successfully. Can I now use a commercial uninstaller (eg Revo) to completely wipe PS 2018 from my PC then reinstall it via Creative Cloud? I am worried that Creative Cloud will not show it is uninstalled. TIA

You just need to use the Cleaner tool.

Use the Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool to solve installation problems

Resetting the preferences removed the irritating message on opening PS but "Save for Web" and Export failed and showed the same message.Oh well!

I was pleased that this worked until I tried "Save for Web" again and got the same "There is a problem with Generator"!!!Ugh.

What operating system are you using?

Windows 10

Now the "Generator" problem has come back. Despite doing a complete uninstall, when I installed via Creative Cloud App it reinstalled everything (filters etc) AND the Generator problem. I wish I could abandon Photoshop but I need it for a group project I am working on.
