Confusion over Didot font

I am hoping someone can steer me straight here.

A few weeks ago, I put together a text piece. Unless I am going mad, I carefully wrote down the font I used, which was Didot at 24 pt. Regular.

Now I a attempting to remake this piece and the font is showing up looking completely different as you can see in the file attached.  This is so confusing! Can anyone tell me what I am missing?›

Correct answer SF Ellen

OMG  I FIGURED IT OUT!!!

For some reason (WHY???) this new text was in 'Faux Bold'. A change that I could only see when I did a right click' on the new text. Once I 'unchecked' the faux bold I was good!  I MEAN. WHAT THE WHAT???!!!!
