Content aware fill performance issue?

This is a 512MB video card, which means it will eat into main memory very quickly. 2GB VRAM should be considered minimum these days.

But I suspect the main problem, as usual, is the scratch disk. This will under many circumstances give "out of memory" messages.

maybe it's large document? Or you selected whole document (inverse selection) and it would be difficult to do

Hi try to clear memory using purge in edit menu or after that go to scratch disk in preferences add another drive to it ... when you work on big size documents this issue occur... also check you on correct layer...Thanks.
