PLEASE HELP!! i'm trying to extend the background of an image, but it ends up being so sloppy. I use the crop tool to extend the photo, check content-aware fill, and wait for it to work. is something wrong with my layers? i did notice that when I extended the photo, the background was white and not transparent — does this make a difference. ALSO, the content aware scale is greyed out. attached some photos for reference.Screen Shot 2023-05-24 at 11.26.28 PM.pngScreen Shot 2023-05-24 at 11.27.07 PM.png

That vingnette is upsetting CAF.  Try including it in the selection

It's not perfect, but is way better.

Hmmm..  I'd wondered if Generative Fill would do a better job, but my first attempt was exactly the same as CAF.  I only discovered it today though.
