Content Credentials Failing

Community Beginner ,
Dec 12, 2021 Dec 12, 2021

I was able to enable the Content Credentials beta last week and successfully attached my wallet, socials in Photoshop.  After that, I was able to attach my credentials to a couple of files.

Since then, I have not been able to do the same.  It work one other time after closing down and restarting Photoshop, but nothing ever since.  I've disabled/re-enabled to feature, closed down the application and even restarted my computer.

All the credential features appear in the Window and Preview, but when I go to do the export it either saves the file with no credentials attached, or the following message appears: "Something went wrong and this isn't available."

I know this is a beta, but it's extremely frustrating not know why this feature isn't work.  Tried numerous files, even creating from scratch with no success.

There are a couple of things you might want to try. 1. Have you tried resetting your preferences? Here is a doc that will walk you through it: https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/using/preferences.html

The other thing you might want to check is if your Graphics Processor Card is compatible with Photoshop. See this troubleshooting guide: https://helpx.adobe.com/ie/photoshop/kb/troubleshoot-gpu-graphics-card.html

see if either one of these fixes the issue, and let us know?

So, I reset my preferences, but now get the warning regarding my GPUs incompatibility.  At least now it makes a lot more sense.  Still doesn't work for most files, but got a start.  Thanks

Glad to hear that you have some clarity. Did you look at the doc on troubleshooting your GPU?

I decided to use a different machine; a gaming laptop with a killer GPU.

My first attempt to add credentials to a file were successful.  But, each subsequent one has failed...  Either saving the file, with no credentials attached, or failing to save, saying that it was unable to attach the credentials.

Cant figure out what is going on here.

With it being a beta, you might have just found a bug that needs to be fixed. If you would like to send in a bug report, here is the form: https://www.adobe.com/products/wishform.html

Also, were you able to look at your Graphics Processor Card to see if it's compatible? Or needs to be updated?
