Hi there.

I have found some images of architecture visualizations, and i would like to make mine look similar as far as the graniy papery texture and the more muted colors. Anyone who has an idea on how to achieve this? I have this base render, that can be used for explaining/showing and two reference images.

I tested the Neural Filter for Style Transfer on your images, but I didn't get a very good result.

I think you'd do better to apply a mix of approaches to get the grainy, lighter, desaturated look.

Here's what I used after making the image a smart object (although feel free to play around with the settings):

  • Filter > Filter Gallery > Film Grain and set the Grain to 11
  • Hue/Saturation adjustment layer with Saturation set to -21 and Lightness set to +6
  • Brightness/Contrast adjustment layer with Brightness set to 46 and Contrast set to -12
