Copying a selection, without copying adjustment

Contributor ,

Hello, I made an adjustment layer with a mask on a lasso-selected area (Hue /saturation 3) i want to change it to to a different kind of adjustment layer, haven't decided yet, but i'm wondering is it possible to copy my selection onto a new adjustment layer, or do I have to draw the whole thing again? Basically, can i copy selections between layers? Any help much appreciated, img attached below

If you have already have a mask with that selection, you can ctrl click the mask then create a new adjustment layer, or you can create the layer first, then alt/opt drag the mask to the new layer.

Hi

You can save your selection and reload it to another layer if that's what you're looking to do
