Hi, I am having a problem with large PSB files. The last 3 have turned corrupt for no reason. I saved with layers, next thing I know, when I open them the next day, they show up like the screenshot below. Reading from other posts, it seems like its a bug yet the files dont look like mine.

Try holding down ALT/OPT + SHIFT when opening a layered file. Perhaps the flattened version isn't corrupted, which may or may not help if you really need the layers just as much as the composite image.
Please forgive the intrusion. Just wondering if UXP DOM scripting can open the composite version of a layered image? AFAIK this wasn't possible with ExtendScript or ActionManager.
EDIT: Looks like it might be possible using getPixels in the Imaging API:
"This API allows JavaScript to obtain pixel data from a Photoshop document. You can request pixels from an individual layer, or from the full document composite."
