Corrupt files Photoshop CC 2024 and lack of experienced support from Adobe
I lost 4 oot 5 files when trusting Adobe Creative Cloud file storage. As many with many Adobe is in my DNA, all the hours invested and the thrill of developing new skillsets through my career and now this. My collegue and I were working on a project together. My collegue was ill but we needed to get going and decided to work together via Creative Cloud, in photoshop. I would start by taking photos in our studio and my collegue would commence the retousch at home. We did so for about two week when late one night 4 out of 5 images were corrupt. This is when tragedy struck, not only had most of the work disapeared but we had to deal with Adobe's horrible support. Both me and my collegue called simultaneously and reached Adobe's indian support after waiting in long ques, we were disconnected/hung up on, we called back 5-6 times and then silence. The next day I called and they blamed it on technical issues. Fast forward weeks later and the problem hasn't been resolved. I have recieved emails that the files are possibly corrupt, different Adobe coworkers have logged in to our computers only to repeat the same manouvers and coming up with the same answer "the files are corrupt and we'll have to send this to another team". I've recieved emails with suggested call up times only not to get called up but with excuses that the call wasn't possible at the time and that I should get back with a new suggestion for a call back. Random calls that I haven't been able to take due to family and meetings and tonight, a call 9pm with the same questions and lack of solutions only to be promised another call 24-48 hours and another kind but blaming support call from India telling me that the file was corrupted and it must have been on our side even though we had no problems as suggested with computers behind VPNs firewalls and other suggested issues. We´re stuck with photoshop on stills but have since moved to Davinci on our motion department. Come on Adobe, you´re letting us down here and when talking to collegues it's clear I'm not alone.
