When I try to save .psd file, there's a message saying :

"Could not save as “filename.psd” because the disk is full.."

But i have plenty of hard disk space in my iMAC and scratch disk is not full. Pls check the below Screenshots. Is there any fix for this issue???

Hello, did you try saving as a PSB?

Are you running Ps 21.1.2?

It is a moderately large file, do you have many layers, or content that extends below the edges?

Are you well trying to save to the local disk?

Yes, i tried saving as Large Document Format, it didn't work even. I am running PS 21.1.2 and i have layers around 40 (includes panaroma of 9 images and other layers on top of it). I am trying to save in /Users/karkphotography/Camera Pictures.

Thanks Ravi Shankar, I have 8 GB ram (Imac's default 2 - 4 GB on 2 slots), if this is a problem with RAM it shouldn't work on Wireless drive, in my case i am able to save .psd in wireless drive. I tried resetting the preferences it didn't help.

Also i installed Adobe photoshop 2019 20.0.7 Release and tried, still the issue exists. Any thing else i need to do guys???

i save below error in

/Users/<user>/Library/Logs/Adobe/Adobe Photoshop 2020/

pslog_20200511_163103.log file.

[PsACPL-RM] [LSH] Reporting RegisterForCacheAccess step complete; error: [].

[PsACPL-RM] [RH] Register process complete for DA3616724F12AE1E0A490D45@AdobeID; registered: [1] sync enabled: [1] error: [].

I don't know whether it may help to root cause the issue. Anywhere i can see the error or exception in adobe photoshop logs???

The Error log that you shared, from what it loos like its not really related to photoshop, it's more of assets sync based log, i could be wrong. I am not an expert when it comes to logs.

Can you try going lower on the resolution / dimension and check if you are able to save then?

Hi,

Can you please check the document dimension? If the document dimension are in inches and you have a high value like 1000 x 1000 asigned you will get that error because the corresponding size in pixels would be too high for your computer to process.

If the above is the case for you then please change the metric to pixels and enter the width and height size and try.
