I am using the Photoshop count tool to mark up A LOT of stains in a high resolution image. The tool works brilliantly with marking up the stain with the selected colour and visual number count next to the stain, but will not go past 324. I believe the count tool can go as high as 10,000. Does any one know how to fix this? I have attached a screen shot to show the stains I am counting (stopped at 320 anticipating it will not go past 324).

Disclosure: I don't use the Count tool, but you are correct that it can go to 10,000 starting with CS2014.1. (You didn't say your version.) See the blog from Julieanne Kost:

Also look at this page from Adobe Help to see if there is anything you are missing.

Hopefully another Community Expert will be along who uses the tool.

I am currently using Photoshop CC version 22.5.1 20210907.r.441. Another thing I noticed when I try to use the count tool to past 323 objects, is that the markings are no longer fixed to the stains I clicked on when I try to move the canvas around. Is this a glitch?
