Crash of photoshop editing psd files exported from Capture One

New Here ,
Jan 20, 2023 Jan 20, 2023

Photoshop Version: 24.1.0 20221206.r.166 be4691b  x64

Betriebssystem: Betriebssystem: Windows 10 64-Bit

Capture One 22 Pro 15.2.1.9 (788d128)

Hi there,

Problem: We export psd files with Capture One. We edit these files in Photoshop. Then Photoshop crashes.

Analysis: It has been working in august. Problem startet in november. Check eventvwr. Check difference of the files. Updated driver for graphic prozessor, so OPENCL and OPENGL available.

Idea: Capture One has been updated. Export template has been changed.

So something must be in the psd file, which crashes adobe.

Find attached crash report and the setting from capture one.

But I have no idea, where to look.

Thanks for an idea.

Annett

Hi @Fabian269254183i50 sorry to hear this.  Curious, do other files NOT from Capture One crash Ps? Are you able to open any .psd files from a drive or desktop, do they crash Ps?

It may help if we could see your Photoshop System Info. Launch Photoshop, and select Help >System Info...and copy/paste the text in a reply.

Thank you,

Cory

I'm not seeing any submitted crash reports from you in our system. If you haven't done so already, please submit all Crash Reports along with your email address: https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/kb/submit-crash-reports.html That will help us diagnose the crash.

Thank you,

Cory

Do you have more than one Graphics card installed?
