The team is excited to announce that Bullets and Numbers in Ps Desktop has been released in Photoshop 25.11.
What is this and how would I use it?
Imagine you're working on a design project and want to add some text, maybe it is a list of essential points or a step-by-step guide. You want these lists to function but also be visually appealing. That's where Photoshops Bullets and Numbering feature comes into play.
Why is it important?
The Type tool is one of the most used tools in Photoshop, and Bullets and Numbering has been one of the most requested features in the Adobe Community.
Photoshop customers want a quick easy way to format a paragraph where each paragraph return becomes a bullet or numbered list item.
Earlier Photoshop customers were creating bulleted points using glyphs and had to add them manually paragraph by paragraph. We hope with this addition the process will be an easier and more fluid workflow.
You can create custom bullets by using the keyboard as follows:
Use keyboard shortcuts such as tab or shift + tab to move to the next or previous indentation levels, respectively.
We hope you find this addition to Photoshop useful and as always appreciate your feedback and any ideas to improve it.
Thanks,
Cory - Photoshop Product Manager

Why was the + # * left off the properties panel ? they are perhaps some of the most useful ones to use as a bullet list
1) It would be great if you could set different colours / fonts to the bullet as well as the text - so * etc is in red and text is in blue.
2) Why not add ) to the bullet lists as well for the numbering so you could then have
1)
2)
etc
3) Also why no option for starting with a number ? i.e start with 10, then 11 12 13 14 etc instead of always assuming 1) 2) etc
4) Applying it in reverse order number - not every list needs to 1, 2, 3, etc but sometimes it is 10, 9, 8, 7, 6 etc
5) Be great to have a way to skip a space etc but still keep the numbering sequence so
1)
2)
3)
4)
etc
6) Why not add a bullet point for £ as well as $ and then it will be useful for currencies
It is great that you can paste in text and the bullet points are then added to the text (so you can select text from a file and copy and paste that in)
7) Perhaps an import feature from a file ... so you could then rapidly select a different file and then change all the lists super quick so you could use 1.csv or 1.txt etc and then select the 2.txt and 2.csv and then change all the text using the current text (perhaps as a linked file so if changed, it will also change)
Again, great feature and a really useful addition to Photoshop

I'm sorry to say, what you just added is bunk. There is no way to control the tab stops. Do you even talk with the other teams (InDesign and Illustartor)? You added paragraph styles, but no tab stops. Type in PS has been a bear for WAY too long. I would highly suggest you stop with the AI [cursing removed], which is nothing more than clip art, and focus on the stuff pro users need.... bullets for web page comps has been needed for decades. Yes, decades. Oh, and incase you doubt my timeline, I've used this program for 30 years. Back when you had to access type in a sepreate dialog box and once placed you could not edit it. Get it together already Adobe!
