Create imperfect circle - cacao texture

Hi everyone, I am trying to recreate this effect for the round shape container (see picture) on Photoshop or Illustrator and since I am a beginner I have tried a few different ways but I haven't found what I was looking for. Could anyone help? 🙂

This doesn't look like an affect. It looks painted by hand.

You can make something like that in Illustrator.
- Make a circle with a stroke in the same color.
- Add Brush to the stroke. Use the artistic brushes or you can make your own.

This is in Illustrator.

The Fill and Stroke have the same color. The stroke is 4 pts and I've applied the Chalk - Scribble from the Artistic > Artistic_ChalkCharcoalPencil Library. You can try other stroke widths and  brushes (or create / modify your own) to get the exact effect you want, and it's easy to make make changes if needed.
