create temporary brush?

Is it possible to create a temporary brush in PS 2019, without creating a full-blown preset. For example, make a selection, press some key (or select a menu item) which creates something which acts like a brush, assign brush settings, then use the brush in a drawing, then abandon the brush, all without actually creating a preset in the "brushes" window?

Its very easy to set up a brush the way you want to use it. Then Create a temp tool preset you use for some time not a bush preset dismiss that option. When you are done with your project simply right click on the Tool preset then click on delete Photoshop will delete it from your user ID tools presets.

Thank you for your reply, but this does not really answer the question I was asking, though it is interesting to me, being somewhat a newbie.
