Create Video Timeline not working

New Here ,
Dec 17, 2021 Dec 17, 2021

I'm running Ps 22.3.0 on iMac (Retina 5K, 27-inch, 2019), OS Catalina 10.15.7

I can see the Create Video Timeline option, but when I select it, nothing happens.  No timeline is created.

My current workaround: I am able to open psd's that I've created previously with video timelines, and to edit that file in order to create a new video.  But obviously I'd like the "create video timeline" feature to create a video timeline in a document where none previously existed.

Hi there,

Sorry to hear about this. Could you please try updating Photoshop to version 23.1.0 through the Creative Cloud Desktop app and let us know if it helps?

Regads,
Sahil

I've updated the software but am still having this problem.  Still using my workaround of using an old file with a video timeline and just pasting my new work into it.  Is there any more info you need from me or anything else you'd like me to try?

Hi. Likely, you need to run Photoshop using Rosetta: https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/kb/photoshop-for-apple-silicon.html

My mac is from 2019.  I don't have an M1 chip.  Do I still need to run Rosetta?
