Creating multiple artboards quickly

I would love to see a feature in Photoshop where you can input a list of dimensions to build multiple artboards within one file at one time, perhaps at the file creation screen. I have seen scripts where you can pull a list of dimensions from a CSV or TXT file into Illustrator, and tried to create a similar one for Photoshop. I have quickly learned that apparently Photoshop is not built in a way to be able to run such a script. So frustrating!

Please! I work in a digital landscape where I could be building 30+ digital specs for one campaign and burn so much time building artboards. Even just the capability for Photoshop to handle a script like that would be tremendous.

There are scripts for Photoshop to do this, but automating the layout can be a challenge if there are different sizes and orientations.
