creating pixel art, grid setup

Does anyone know why this grid is not mathcing my canvas, and why my pencil draw the pixels off the grid like shown below?

I used your numbers and your guide set up, and it's completely aligned for me in 2020. The only difference is that I'm on Windows 10, so it's possible it's related to it being on a Mac. If you're on a Retina display, you might try opening Photoshop in low-resolution mode https://community.adobe.com/t5/photoshop/retina-display-ui-scaling-for-photoshop-2018/td-p/9463446

Thanks for replying. Set it to low resolution, still no luck... I am on an iMac 5k Retina 2019
