Hello Adobe Community,

I need help with a feature in Photoshop 2023. In my older version of Photoshop, I was able to create small circles using the "Verläufe" tool (I'm not sure what it's called in English). However, in Photoshop 2023, it seems that I can't find this option anymore.

Attached is an image to show what I'm trying to achieve. Can anyone guide me on how to create small circles with gradients in Photoshop 2023?

Thank you in advance for your assistance!

Julia

What is problem exactly? Gradient tool is not present in Toolbar? Go to Edit > Toolbar and drag gradient from left right hand side (Extra Tools) to the left (Toolbar section) or click Restore Defaults then Done button.

What kind of circle you want to create? There are a couple of Gradient drawing modes + options in the options bar from which depend what will be drawn when you drag with the Gradient tool activated. You must have empty or pixel based unlocked layer in the Layers panel selected to draw gradient.

I wanted to create these circles, and I've always found them where the red arrow is pointing. However, in the latest version of Photoshop, I unfortunately cannot find them anymore.circles.jpg

Go to Window>Gradients, load Legacy Gradients from the fly-out menu, go to Legacy Default Gradients and use Transparent Stripes.

Sure, but not in Photoshop 2023. You're right about older versions, I did find it there too.

You don't have Window>Gradients>Legacy Gradients?
