Hello,

I have several SVG images in the size 6-8 kb. When I open them in Photoshop to edit them and export them as SVG again, they increase in size over 1 mb.
How can I avoid that?

Thanks for help!

If you open a *.svg file with Photoshop it will be imported into Photoshop as a single Raster layer image. You will not have any vectors graphics in Photoshop.  Photoshop does not support Vector formats like .svg and .ai files have. If you export the resized raster image as a SVG file the svg file will not have  vector graphic in its content.  You need to use a vector editor like

Illustrator
