Question

Creative cloud laggy Timeline playback

Hey there. I recently upgraded from Photoshop CS6 to CC. I use Photoshop primarily for making .gifs using the Timeline feature, and I'm noticing that Photoshop CC plays my images much less smoothly than CS6 does.
Here are two videos for comparison. Apologies for the quality. The first video was captured in CS6, and the second is from CC:
Both files are identical and small (<5mb). Also, when I preview the images in the Save for Web window, the the issue is not apparent. It's just laggy on the CC canvas. Files exported from CC and CS6 are identical when viewed in a browser

Has anyone had this issue before? Any tips on how to resolve it? Thanks!

Yeah both are .09 frame delay. The CS6 is much more accurate compared to how the image looks on the web and "Save for Web" preview window which makes it very difficult to work in CC.

How does it Play in Photoshop fro the Frame animation panel.  I do mot think I have ever used Save for Web preview or its  preview in browser.  I just save the animated gif and seem to get what I see when I play the anination from the frame animation panel.

Both your video look smooth but seem to have a different frame rate.  Do both have the sane frame delay settings/
